CLAIM calculates the cost of the spare parts used for the repair, starting from the spare part code which has been entered during the "repair management" transactions.
The codes of the parts needed for the repair can be found entering the product code, the recoding code or the product description code. If the parts are not available, the system creates a specific request to order the necessary parts from the Supplier.
The repair is suspended and the indication "AWAITING SPARES" is noted on the job sheet.
If the required material is available, the necessary quantity is booked for the repair; the cost of the parts listed in the job sheet is calculated on the basis of the contract terms.
