FIRST MAJOR PROCESS:
REPAIR LABOUR COST PROCEDURE

The operator is required to enter the reference number of the product to be repaired.
This reference number permits CLAIM to determine whether the repair work is costed on an hourly tariff (out of guarantee) or default (guarantee) basis.
The choice of tariff to be used is made on the basis of the link between the product reference number and its family code.
The information concerning family chains is automatically built into the CLAIM procedure and each new product will be matched to its family.
The CLAIM package can handle up to 999 families, each one corresponding to the repair tariffs of each Manufacturer.

THE FINAL RESULTS OF THE REPAIR LABOUR COST PROCEDURE ARE:
  • THE CONNECTION OF ALL PRODUCTS TO THEIR RESPECTIVE INFORMATION FAMILY CHAIN
  • THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE REPAIR LABOUR COSTS AS SPECIFIED BY THE CONTRACT
  • THE STORING FOR THE MANUFACTURER OF ALL DATA SELECTED DURING THE JOB SHEET REGISTRATION
